UK Privacy & Data Protection Notice

Cabivella ("we", "our", "us") is dedicated to protecting the privacy of clients, homeowners, architects, and developers who consult with us regarding made-to-measure cabinetry. For the purposes of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the designated Data Controller is:

2. Personal Data We Collect & Hold

We collect only the information necessary to evaluate your floorplans, generate realistic costings, and coordinate joinery manufacture and UK logistics:

• Identity & Contact: Full name, telephone/mobile number, email address, and UK delivery postcode.
• Project & Architectural Data: Room dimensions, hand sketches, CAD drawings, site photographs, collection preferences, and finish requirements uploaded via our enquiry forms or communicated via WhatsApp/email.
• Enquiry Reference & Audit Trail: Unique project reference numbers (e.g. CAB-2026-XXXXX) used to log your requirements and quote history.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your data strictly under recognized lawful bases:

• Contractual & Pre-Contractual Steps: Assessing your specifications, reviewing architectural plans, producing shop drawings, and providing bespoke quotations.
• Legitimate Interests: Operating a secure digital platform, preventing automated spam via bot protection, and maintaining reliable business communication with prospective clients.
• Consent: When you voluntarily submit drawings or reach out via WhatsApp for direct consultation.

4. Data Storage, Security & International Transfers

We store client project records securely with restricted access. Your architectural files and contact information are handled directly by our management and technical drafting team. When technical cutting lists or shop drawings are prepared with our manufacturing facility in Turkey, data transfers are limited strictly to dimensioning, CAD layouts, and production sheets necessary to manufacture your cabinetry. No financial details or payment card information are stored on our servers.

5. Retention Period

Enquiry details and architectural files are retained for the duration of your project consultation and for up to 24 months to assist with revisions, re-orders, or aftercare service queries, after which they are securely deleted upon request.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

As a UK resident, you have statutory rights including:

• The right to access the personal data and project files we hold about you.
• The right to request immediate rectification of incomplete or inaccurate data.
• The right to request erasure ("right to be forgotten") of your records where there is no ongoing legal or contractual obligation.
• The right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
